it was a whopping 72 degrees on monday. with a combination of being 8 months pregnant and just having 8 months of rainy, cold weather, it totally felt like it was 90 degrees to me. we LOVED it and can’t wait for more warm weather! we picnicked and explored an awesomely strange park all afternoon. i will definitely be going back for photo shoots there in the future.

i took a long break after the busy christmas season and this is what i’ve been up to:
family time!
a family picture with both mom and dad!

Christmas!
my little munchkins with their cousin on Christmas day.

lots of playing!
we had so much fun in the snow. i miss it.

working on the bump!
our new baby girl is expected in may.

moving!
we are moving this week (but will still be in the seattle area)! we are buried in boxes at the moment, but i will be sharing more pictures soon!

i will be out of town for the holidays from december 20th to january 3rd. any orders placed during this time will be fulfilled when i get home after the new year. i hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying this special time of year!
merry christmas!

{my little chickadees}
my youngest just turned two. they grow too fast, don’t they? that’s the biggest reasons why i am so in love with photography. i love to capture every stage (more like every day) of my kids while they are young. i don’t want to forget any of their expressions or their cute baby faces. hopefully my kids will have some memories of me without a camera in front of my face!

i hope everyone had a fun halloween! my little frog and bat sure did!

my brother and sister in law, who lived only 2 miles away, moved today. it is slowly sinking in, and i am so sad not to have family living close by anymore. their kids came over to play the last couple days while they packed up the house, then last night we all had a big slumber party in our little apartment! i took my kids over this morning to run around in the empty house right before j & l left town. our kids are all close in age, and they have so much fun together.
i can’t help but take pictures of zachary in just a diaper to show off his chubbiness! you can’t tell in this picture, but he is sitting in the middle of an empty dining room, in a totally empty house. how sad! but we are really excited for them to start their new adventure and we will be visiting very soon!

i can’t believe it’s already the middle of august. the summer has gone too fast! my kids and i have sure had a lot of fun days spent at the lake, going on walks, playing at different parks, and swimming at the pool. we love summer days!
i have a few summer sessions still available, so contact me if you would like to schedule one! and enjoy the rest of your summer!

My baby turned 4 last weekend. He keeps telling me he’s a big boy, not a baby anymore. But he’ll always be my baby. He was expecting to have grown out of all of his three year old stuff when he woke up on his birthday. He was quite surprised that he still fit in his bed and his clothes still had room to grow. He is always cracking me up with his ideas and questions about the world. I love him to pieces, and I look forward to what he’ll learn and how he’ll grown this year.
