pretends she’s duke the dog half of the time.

loves to be home.

would take her blanky and doggy with her everywhere if i let her.

wanted a “batman boy party” on her birthday.

was my first baby girl.

4 years ago our family got a whole lot sweeter.

we just got home from a wonderful two week vacation to visit family in connecticut.  we traveled around a bit and saw manhattan, boston, rhode island, and upstate new york.  every place we went was absolutely beautiful, but i have to say that the most beautiful scenery was right outside my brother and sister in law’s back windows:

it was gorgeous and we had such a great trip!  it was a little hard to come home, but i have been quite anxious to get back to work.  it was tough leaving for two weeks during the busiest photography time of the year, but i’m rejuvenated and ready to work, work, work!!  today i will be posting pictures from my mini sessions and tomorrow the christmas cards will be up!

dallin graduated from kindergarten!!  now he spends his days building legos and riding his bike.  it’s a rough life!

this boy.  he has had my heart since the day he was born.  we had a picture date last night, and having one on one time made me fall in love with him all over again.  he is such a charmer, very sweet, and so curious about everything.  he planned the meal (first course: chocolate milkshakes) and picnic location (at a park on top of the play structure) and i got to take as many pictures of him as my heart desired.  it was fabulous.  he asked if we could go on a date every night.  oh i wish we could!

but next time i’ll leave my camera at home! 

livy is 10 months now.  i feel like going into mourning over my baby turning one in two months.  at least part of my job is holding and cuddling babies!  i snapped some pictures of livy today to capture her personality at this age.  as you can see, she just sat and played in her crib the whole time.  it was so nice keeping her contained while i shot away.  i could seriously do a whole photo session with a baby in a crib! 

this was one of about 3 times that abby has actually posed for my camera.  it made me so happy!

dallin was the mastermind behind this valentine.  he had the great idea to sit on a ball in the picture, and he even helped me with the photoshopping!

i can’t believe my little girl will be 3 next month.
