Dabny Art Photography: Seattle Children & Family Photographer

i have been the worst blogger this year!  i have been taking on very few clients and doing zero blogging (obviously!) and have been enjoying lots of family time.   it’s been a great year and i’ve been able to do a lot of personal projects, get my life better organized, and have more time for my kids.  i’ll be doing more sessions this fall, and i’m excited to share this one from the end of the summer.  isn’t this family beautiful?

such a stinkin’ cute just barely 1 year old (and her parents)!  i have been soooo blessed with good weather for my sessions this season, and this one was no exception.  the clouds were dark and threatened rain all morning, but they held out and we didn’t even get a sprinkle on us! 

i couldn’t believe how much hudson grew since last year. and that curly hair and those big brown eyes!  he is such a handsome little man.

 i was a little intimidated to do a half hour session for a family that has two babies!  but, thankfully, these cuties were perfect little angels and they even gave me lots of smiles!

i love this family.  they are fun and full of energy!  they live right down the street and we play with them a lot.  the kids are about the same age as my two oldest and they have another one due on christmas!

sam is such a little charmer.  right when i met him he gave me the biggest smiles and didn’t stop looking at me.  he was so animated the whole first half of the session, and by the time we got outside he was so exhausted that he fell right to sleep in his mom’s arms.  he is such a sweetheart and has sweet parents who adore him like crazy.

i just got back from a week and a half trip to oregon.  my family had a reunion as we welcomed my baby brother home from a two year mission.  we also celebrated olive’s first birthday, went hiking to some beautiful waterfalls, went to the beach on a sunny day, plus i got to take pictures of this fun family!!  if you follow me on facebook  you know that i did a giveaway once i reached 100 fans.  betsy won that giveaway and this is a sneak peek of her FREE session!

after a long winter, doesn’t 70 degrees feels hot?!  this afternoon my kids put on their swimsuits and filled up their little pool.  for hours they splashed around and played with water balloons, and they never got cold.  it made me so excited for summer!  we have had the best weather for sessions lately including the day i photographed this beautiful family.  we did their session at luther burbank park on mercer island, and had a lot of fun walking along the water and finding great spots for pictures.
