it was so fun to meet this cute family at the park on saturday. it was the most beautiful fall day imaginable. the sun was shining, the leaves were all different shades of orange and yellow, and it was actually kind of warm. i love fall in the northwest.
you might recognize this little cutie from her session a couple months ago. this time her mom and dad got in on the action. they are such a fun, kind family, and pretty good looking too!

this is another session i did while in oregon. these adorable girls belong to my good friend, lindy, who was visiting from virginia.
emma just might be the prettiest 2 year old ever. she was so much fun to photograph!!
this is emma’s new baby sister, 3 week old ava.
she’s a beauty just like her sister.
and here is the whole family, grandma and uncle included.

my kids and i had a blast last week in oregon. i was able to do some photography sessions while i was down there, including one with my nephew, aiden. he is such a doll and waaaaaay easier to photograph than my own kids!
my brother and sister in law, who lived only 2 miles away, moved today. it is slowly sinking in, and i am so sad not to have family living close by anymore. their kids came over to play the last couple days while they packed up the house, then last night we all had a big slumber party in our little apartment! i took my kids over this morning to run around in the empty house right before j & l left town. our kids are all close in age, and they have so much fun together.
i can’t help but take pictures of zachary in just a diaper to show off his chubbiness! you can’t tell in this picture, but he is sitting in the middle of an empty dining room, in a totally empty house. how sad! but we are really excited for them to start their new adventure and we will be visiting very soon!
amy now has a baby brother, three month old kyle! we went to a bellevue park by their house for their session. they were both oh so serious at first! check out these cute faces..
and then amy’s smile came out..
..and kyle fell asleep! he was just too tuckered out, so we got some adorable sleeping pictures.

bob and jennifer got married on saturday, and i felt so honored to be at their intimate ceremony. jennifer wanted to keep it simple and only invited immediate family and a few friends. before the ceremony we went down to carillon point in kirkland to get some portraits on the water front. it was one of the hottest days of the year, but they were troopers and it was sweet watching how emotional it was for them during that time right before their wedding.
josh photographed a 50th anniversary that night and it was also our 6th wedding anniversary! it was wedding/anniversary central around here! we’ll probably celebrate in September when wedding season slows down a little bit!
